I cant remember the name of a country song from a few years ago?

I dont remember the name or the artist or exact lyrics but i can
describe it the best i can.
It was from a few years ago maybe 3 or 4 or 5 idk somewhere around
there.
It was sung by a man
it was at night
it had something to do with the man looking at the moon
it was a sad song
i think but am not sure that it was about a woman his girlfriend or
wife
